Resort Thread Disney's ALL-STAR MOVIES Resort

I was over at the All Stars on Thursday. The RFID mugs are for sale at these resorts, along with the new pricing. The colors were orange, purple and green. I have a few of these colors from a stay at POP a few years ago. While at Disney we resort hop. The other resorts are still selling the black, pink and blue mugs with the old pricing. Some of the RFID equipment is installed at these resorts, but not up and running. I'll travel to get a new color mug, as long as it's included in my dining plan.

If you need connecting rooms, I would make that your only request. Also, make sure the 2 reservations are linked in the WDW system.

We are arriving in 45 days! I’m so excited about this trip, we will be new to ASMo and it’s our first trip in the month of October. Looking forward to the Halloween decorations.

In January the washers and dryers were coin operated, ancient and the dryers worked very poorly...it was the only bad part of our vacation...

We'll be checking in at All Star Movies in three weeks!!!! Really excited - we'll be there with my granddaughter who LOVES 101 Dalmatians!

For those of you who are there now, or have recently returned from AS Movies - how was the bus service?? I'm just a little concerned after some recent negative reviews.

There is a recall on the room fridges and many WDW resorts have fridges that are unplugged with a note not to plug them in. Why they just don't remove them from the rooms is beyond me.

I will be at movies sept 22. Yesterday I received a letter from WDW saying that the fridges had been recalled and we won't have one there during our stay. I had read about this last month but was really hoping they'd have had it resolved before our trip.

We are checking in to All-Star Movies on Sept 15 and we just received a letter in the mail saying we will NOT have a fridge for our stay. We figured as much, but it's still disappointing! At least I know now that bringing along a cooler for the room is not a waste of space in our car.

Those of you who are there, or just back, did you request a refund credit for not having a fridge? There was some mention of a $15 a night credit.

Question: does ASMo have pool towels available for guests swimming in the pool or do we need to bring our own?

Info: we are checking in aug 31, but we just got a letter today stating there will not be fridges available. I was already planning on it because of the info here, but thanks for the notice. Lol. No mention of any credit.

They won't mention anything about credit. You'll have to ask for it.
