Can anyone help answer this question please? I am sure I read somewhere that Disneyquest was closing and being replaced by some sort of NBA event. Is this true?

True, sadly. I had so much fun there as a kid. The original lift ride up was so much fun

I guess with advances in technology though, it just wasn't going to cut it anymore.
