We have been to WDW but never to DQ. We will be heading back this December and have two tickets as part of our package. With the boys now old enough to stay by themselves, I thought if we had the time that we might give it a try. Questions:

1) Should I have any concern leaving DS17 and DS14 at DQ why my DH and I shop? (They are both quite responsible)

2) How crowded does it get? We will be there 12/21-12/27 so I realize everything will be busy - but how bad?

3) Is there a better time to visit - time, day of week, etc.

Any additional tips?

They would be fine being left by themselves. It's essentially a giant arcade, so I wouldn't worry. The layout, however, is pretty confusing, so I would advise you to instruct them to stay together. It's pretty easy to get separated. From what I've experienced, it's never that busy there.

Just a heads up. The person who the room is registered to has to redeem the tickets by showing id. We found that out last summer when our two boys went by themselves while we shopped. They called us and I had to go to DQ to show id for them to get the tickets.
