Which games/entertainment at Disneyquest require an additional cost besides your entry fee?
Does anyone have a list?
Are they something the kids are going to "have" to do?
I have a small problem with paying an admission to get in and then having to pay for games once we are in there.
My girls will be 14 & 11.
Thanks :flower:

The games that give you coupons to redeem for prizes cost extra, but we don't do those. Some of the activities are free, but you can purchase a souvenir associated with the experience: video, CD, artwork, and model. All the really different things are included in the price. Last time my boys were there, we did not spend any extra money inside, not even for food!

Trust me, you could spend all day at DQ and not touch any of the little games that cost extra. You could just avoid that small section of DQ alltogether. Some of the games that cost extra- there is also a free version. For example, there a skeeball game you can get tickets from, but there's also free skeeball. You kids would probably be more excited about playing the virtual reality games like Pirates of the Caribbean versus little chuck e cheese type ticket games anyways.

I'll be at DQ tomorrow afternoon :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Oh good, thankyou for the info.
I had read someones trip report and they were pretty discouraged and made it sound like there were a ton of games you had to pay for.
Thats good to know. My kids will love all the virtual reality stuff for sure.

DD8 and I were there twice this week and the only money we spent inside was to purchase the CD that she made. We didn't even go into the ticket game area. We can play those at home. She was more interested in the Virtual coaster, Pirates, and Astro Blaster Bumper cars. We did these things several times. We checked out the soundbooths and she made a really sweet recording for her grandmother and we bought it since $12 is not much for a cool souvie.
