DisneyQuest for younger kids?

We have always skipped DisneyQuest. This year our kids will be 5,6, and 9 when we go. Is DisneyQuest something they will enjoy? Should I plan a whole day for this or just a few hours? Will there be much for the 5 yo (40 in) to do?

I'd plan just a few hours, but I think your kids are plenty old enough to enjoy it. Mine were 4 & 7 our first time. DD4 was a little overwhelmed by the noise and bustle, but had fun playing the old arcade games in the classic section. DS7 loved it. Now they're 7 & 11 and Disney Quest is a must-do. We never plan a full day for it, but always spend a few hours in the afternoon on a resort or waterpark day.

I don't remember anything about height restrictions there except for CyberSpace Mountain which is 51". A lot of the games are arcade style and they have plenty of step-stools for the littler ones to be able to reach the controls. DD discovered classic Frogger on our first visit there and enjoyed it so much that we ended up buying it for our PC when we came home!

DQ is a whole lot more fun for preteens, teens and adults. Littler kids won't find much to do most of the time and could get frustrated trying to play the games there. Your 5 and 6 yr olds might enjoy going to the Lego Store a whole bunch more than going to DQ.

My boys will be 5 and 8 when we go. We definitely plan on taking them to Disney Quest, they love video games, and arcades and this will be perfect for them. I say go for it!

My kids are 8 and 11 and absolutely loved it. I found it boring since I didn't play any of the games and the virtual ones gave me headache
But it is fun for the kids and they can't wait to go back. If your kids love video games, this is definitely the right place for it.
