Hi all - I'm wondering if there's much to do at DisneyQuest at downtown Disney for me. I can't take any jostling, jerking, etc., because of back & neck problems. Would it be worth it to go?

Thanks!!!

Hi - thanks for your response! I haven't found any place where all the stuff to do is listed, but from what I have seen online, there are a lot of virtual reality rides that do shake you around. I wouldn't be able to do any of those. Would you mind sharing what there is to do for me?

Also, would you happen to know where there's a complete listing of the attractions in Disneyquest?

Thanks again!

My husband has Muscular dystrophy but only part time in a wheel chair right now. There are things he can do but its getting harder for him. He has a collapsed disk so he cant rough around either and lifting his arms up is hard or impossible in some cases

All ears has a description of things:

They do talk about disabilities on this list under point # 13

He can do ranger spin because its not rough. Its spins but not to bad.
He did do jungle cruise with me but I had to do more paddle than him. So we did go left a lot more than straight. Also its a bit rough so I am thinking he can no longer do this 9Its been a few years since we went last)
The aladain carpet was not good for him because of the reachout he had to do and hunch down.
He did the pirate ride but there again stamina was an issue. The entire floor moves and he had to hold on more than play
He wont do the roller coaster with me but thats because I like to go upside down. He could make a roller coaster thats tamer and ride it no problem.

We go to Disneyquest because I love it. Its fun for him but not his favorite. He does it for me because he knows I give up a lot for him.

I just remembered a rather fun thing we did together there. They have remote control trucks but the thing is they are undergound and the person steering them is totaly blind to where they are except a screen in front of them. We took turns sterring the remote and the other person told where to go (Left and right and things like that) We had to navigate a maze. It was fun because it required working together and no physical work.

I think there is plenty to do at DQ for you. There is so much to choose from that the activities that may be a problem are minimal in number. DH is disabled and even he enjoys DQ with the kids, but he does sit out of certain things.
