I would be sad! This funds my D23 Gold membership and the occasional gift card. I still get the monthly D+ points plus points for seeing movies, at least.
Hopefully they just want to drive you to go see movies to get points.

It goes into Walt’s office. And I’ve also heard stories in the past about the length of the tour time not being enforced and going longer than scheduled. It’s similar to the D23 tour but a much smaller private group since its capped at 4 people. I’ve actually been on a studio tour before into Walt’s office with ABD but our group had like 35/40 people and we split in half at the studio so it was still 15-20 people when we went on the studio tour.

Lucky that your ABD tour did that. We did the tour with ABD just last December and it didn't include Walt's office. I'm rectifying this with a D23 tour in August.

I think it may have been because it was a DIS buyout week, but this was back in 2018.

I think you are right, we will see fewer free points and more of movie tickets and disney+ points.

I use mine to buy gift cards only.
