We signed up for the disneymoon registry :cool1: but i have a question. I set the web address under the options but when i try to go to it, it just takes me to a main page where you put in the bride or grooms name. Is this normal? I guess I thought with the personal web address that it would take our guests right to our registry.

Thanks,
Jes

I don't know for sure as there wasn't a registry when I was planning, but a friend has registered and I had to do the same thing when I went to get her gift...so, short answer, yes I think it's normal.;)

We did the Honeymoon registry as well. The url listed goes right to our registry. Maybe email and ask if the link is active. They've been good about responding to my questions. Good Luck!

How is the Disney Honeymoon Registry working for you? Do you have to book a Disney Honeymoon? or do you know if you can just use a reservation number for a resort you have booked?? I've been thinking about doing this, but we will only be staying at the resort during our wedding week. Our honeymoon is going to be a cruise, but not sure if it will be Disney or another cruise line, and we won't be booking our Honeymoon until closer to the wedding. Any information on how the registry works would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am not sure if you have to have a package booked or if having a resort booked is enough. If you have a confirmation number, I would go ahead and try to set up an account. I booked our vacation with Dreams Unlimited and our travel agent made a note that it was our honeymoon but it wasn't a honeymoon package or anything like that and our confirmation number worked.

Once your account is set up, you will receive a gift card. It is sooooo pretty and I am excited to have just received it, even if no one contributes. It says just married and has a carriage on it. Once you receive the card, you activate it on the website and then you can start to give out your registry information to your guests. It says it takes 7 - 10 days for you to receive your gift card, but I honestly got mine in 2 or 3 days.

Once you have your account created, you can select items that you want people to contribute too...although it is my understanding that it is all cash that goes on your gift card and in the end you can use it for whatever you want.

I definitely recommend doing it!

Thank you so much for the info, I will give it a try once I have my reservation number!!! I really hope to be going on the Disney Cruise and would love to have a gift card to use for our excursions and Spa treatments!!!
