Disneymoon in October!

Hello! This is actually my first post on this site, I just found it. I love everything Disney! We are going to Disneyworld for our honeymoon this year, we can't wait!!
I was wondering if there are certain things we should do, for example I heard too tell the front desk that it is your honeymoon. Anyhthing else?

And for anyone who also went to Disneyworld for their honeymoon, how was it? Did you get any lil' perks or special attention because you were on your honeymoon?

You will love it here.
Most people wear the bride and groom mickey ears and you can find badges (pins) to wear.
Most def will be wearing the mickey ears!!!

Our honeymoon was this past December (Christmas week). We had the pins and wore them, had our honeymoon noted on all our ressies (hotel and dining--my sister is a Disney Travel Specialist so she noted it on everything!), but we didn't get any special treatment. We still had a great time anyway!

I haven't been there for my honeymoon yet, but I would recommend calling the hotel you are staying at 2-3 days prior to your arrival to confirm any room requests and to make sure it is noted that you are on your honeymoon. I work in travel and sometimes you just never know, if there is a glitch or something, or someone you originally talk to forgets to note something, the resort will have it direct on their system there if you call them a few days before.
