Has anyone used the above website to book a stay at DLP? I came across it last night and the prices looked ok, but was unsure whether it was a genuine site?
When I phoned to enquire about our dates & preferred hotel they didn't have availability, however when I checked the website above they did!

Thanks,
Marie

I haven't booked with them but I have booked with Holiday Discount Centre and they were really good. Although the last time I went to DLRP (in March 2012) they got a little bit tetchy with me as I had managed to find a cheaper price from the actual DL site myself. The girl on the phone accused me of lying and said I hadn't been looking at an official DL site. Duh! Anyway that was the first time I went to Disneyland Paris and not booked with them. Up until then they had been really lovely and helpful and given the same prices as the DLP website. Maybe I was unlucky that day and got an unhelpful telephone operator...?

I have looked at the Disneyland Paris Direct website and they seem to have their own set of rules and offer random discounts. They've been around a while though, why don't you try Googling them and see if any negative reports crop up?

Most of us tend to book directly with Disney. Have you priced it up on their website to see what DLP themselves are charging for your dates? You'll also be able to see if there is availability for your chosen hotel too.

I'm not saying this one is but some websites are notorious for quoting a figure then when you click through the price has either risen or else there is no availability. I prefer to deal with DLP directly, I like to be in charge of my own booking!

Booked with them last year ad this year..... all went perfectly and got a very slightly cheaper deal than Disney site both times. Only about €20 cheaper but still a saving. Confirmations etc all emailed same day as final balance paid. No concerns for me.

That's like me I rang magic vacations which apparently offer a price buster to best price you got and the lady on the phone was quoting me 700 more for flights and accommodation and said the hotel new York was 1295 and I said I'm looking at it right now and it says 900 on the site. She told me she was looking at the site and that I was completely wrong and the flights were 920 not 1300 like she was quoting me :confused3

Hi i have booked with eurodisneydirect i think they are the same company. We dont go till may but so far all ok balance is paid i have my confirmation email. Hope u get a good deal.

I have used them a couple of times - no problems at all, were a little bit cheaper (on that day), no booking fee, deposit only online, and very easy to choose best deal on website. Will use again!

We have used them for the last 4 years, they are actually just a travel agents in Essex called Clippers Quay Travel, they have been excellent with us and we've always had great prices, any probs and they sort it very quickly although they are very knowledgeable about DLP and most staff seem to know the place inside out. They are our first port of call when we are looking at visiting DLP and have gone with them ever since our first trip in 2009. I'd recommend them every time.

We booked with them in 2010 because I got all annoyed with disney direct over the phone because they couldn't answer my questions about room sizes.

And yes, when taking 2 travel cots for 18 month old twins, room size versus cost was an important part of the decision making. :surfweb:

So yes they were extremely helpful and I am glad we used them.

But in 2008 and this year, we have gone through disneylandparis both on the web and by phone (booking for 5 is a nightmare ).

Never mind, 5 week Thursday...:cool1:

Thanks for all your responses. We would normally book with DLP but when I phoned yesterday they had no availability at the Cheyenne for our dates - only at the Santa Fe (which is ok, but not for DD's first trip) they then said that due to DD being 3.5 at the time of travel that the Cheyenne wouldn't suit us due to there being a bunk bed in the room. Personally I thought this would be a plus rather than having DD rolling around a double bed - what do you think?

When I looked on the website I mentioned in my first post, they have availability for the dates we want to go, in the Cheyenne - which is weird and I don't know why DLP hasn't? They are also a good price too!

I tell you all this confusion is driving me loopy!

Would any of you consider the bunkbeds at the Cheyenne a risk for a 3.5 year old?

If they sleep on the bottom they should be fine, only advantage of a double us less likely to fall out. Is you child use to sleeping in a proper bed as opposed to cot bed or toddler bed?

You could always put pillows down side to stop them rolling out. I can see why Disney warn people about the bunks due to the possibility of rolling out.

Regarding availability, Disney sell rooms to other companies so whilst they may not have any other companies will

Lucas slept in the bottom of a bunk at the Cheyenne when he was 2 and was absolutely fine. A lot lower than the normal beds so any falls would have been from a lower height, not that he did fall out.

DD is currently in a cot, but will be going into a cotbed in the spring, hopefully by the time get to DLP she will be used to sleeping in a bed.
