Have any of you VGC owners done World of Color yet? If so, were you able to get fastpasses early from the Grizzly River Run machines with early park entrance? Please explain the procedures.

I am looking forward to my next visit to the Disneyland Resort and taking in the new World of Color show.

Here is the FASTPASS info from Disney's website:

Disney's FASTPASS® Service
Disney's FASTPASS® Service provides first-come, first-served tickets to same day showtimes for World of Color. Tickets are available when the Park opens at the Grizzly River Run FASTPASS® Service machines.

Insert your scanned Theme Park admission ticket into the machine to obtain your FASTPASS® ticket printed with showtime, viewing area and return time. As with other Disney's FASTPASS® attractions, a limited number of tickets are available and Guests will not be able to select a specific showtime.

At your designated return time, bring your FASTPASS® ticket with you to Paradise Park where Cast Members will direct you to the color-coded viewing area indicated on your ticket.

Wheelchair accessible locations and designated areas for Disney's handheld devices are located throughout the viewing area. For assistance, please see a Cast Member at Paradise Park.

There was a tweet today about 9:45 from someone who had just received their WoC fastpasses, so they are definitely available before stated park opening. What is not clear is whether the DGC park entrance is even open at park opening as it had been in the pre-WoC past. There was at least one report that it was not open June 11, but I have not heard anything since then. I would expect this situation to remain fairly fluid in the coming weeks, so you should check at the DGC when you arrive. -- Suzanne

We just checked in and have a 5th floor DCA theme park view. There is a sign at the front of the Downtown Disney entrance to the Grand Californian that states that all guests must join the fastpass line in front of the theme park, so it looks like we can't enter through the Grand Californian entrance to get fastpasses early. We are going to watch the WOC from the balcony tonight and try to get fastpasses for the show tomorrow night. We will post later how we successful we are.
