. What Theme Park do you like better, Disneyland or Walt Disney’s World Magic Kingdom?
Disneyland- it has the original feel, and so many rides and attractions in one place. Magic Kingdom is awesome but doesnt have as much in one place & I dont like that you have to go back towards the middle to get to places. Disneyland has lots of shortcuts around the edges of the park.

2. Who has better attractions, Disneyland or WDW Magic Kingdom?
Disneyland. Like I said above, there are just more of them at Disneyland

3. Is Space Mountain better at Disneyland or WDW Magic Kingdom?
Disneyland. The Space Mtn in Disneyland is much darker and they have music!

4. Is Pirates of the Caribbean better at Disneyland or WDW Magic Kingdom?
Disneyland. I like how you start the ride at Disneyland, in the bayou looking area.

5. Is Haunted Mansion better at Disneyland or WDW Magic Kingdom
Disneyland. I think that its eerier (is that a word?)

6. Which castle do you like more, Sleeping Beauty or Cinderella’s castle?
Cinderella's all the way. Its bigger, prettier, just awesome!

7. What is you’re favorite ride at Disneyland?
I love Indiana Jones

Splash Mountain - its much better than the one at Disneyland!

That's a tough one - I'm gonna say both

11. Where would you rather live Disneyland or WDW Magic Kingdom? Live? Like live in the actual park? Or in the city near the park? WDW Magic Kingdom is cleaner & there is so much more to do in WDW than at Disneyland - so if you mean living IN the park, I'd choose WDW Magic Kingdom

No contest - SM at DL kicks MK's version's ***... Smoother ride, better audio, side by side seating.

Gonna go with DL for now - seen upgraded version at MK, but not the new version at DL. Assuming it is as better as MK is. Original versions yield an edge to DL.

1. What Theme Park do you like better, Disneyland or Walt Disney’s World Magic Kingdom? Personally, I like Magic Kingdom better for overall "magic". However, Fantasyland at Disneyland is larger and contains more rides which was quite cool. However, Tomorrowland is DL is quite depressing. It should contain Prozac machines in place of FastPasses (2005 January trip observation).

2. Who has better attractions, Disneyland or WDW Magic Kingdom? Oh my, well, the Matterhorn is incredibly fun. However, Splash Mountain is more fun at WDW. It's a tough call. I don't know that I could pick.

3. Is Space Mountain better at Disneyland or WDW Magic Kingdom? SM was closed at DL in January 2005. I have no way to compare them.

4. Is Pirates of the Caribbean better at Disneyland or WDW Magic Kingdom? Disneyland...hands down.

5. Is Haunted Mansion better at Disneyland or WDW Magic Kingdom? Once again, HM was closed at DL during my trip. I have no way to compare them.

6. Which castle do you like more, Sleeping Beauty or Cinderella’s castle? CINDERELLA!!! The DL castle is so small! I got depressed just seeing it.

Disneyland-more detail in the attractions, and way more of them. One can see the contrast of what's been taken away from WDW over the years--well, it's still there at Disneyland

Disneyland again, it has space rock music! smoother ride, side by side seating and it's darker inside.

Disneyland again--LOVE the beginning of the ride with the Bayou setting; and the stalagmites,(or is it stalagtites?whatever) and the cavern. Great atmosphere.

All that being said, I prefer Walt Disney World over Disneyland Resort. 4 major parks compared to 2, many resort hotel choices, plus all the extras makes WDW a better vacation. If WDW were just 2 parks, for instance the Magic Kingdom and MGM, I'd definitely prefer the Disneyland Resort, but as it is, I'd rather vacation in WDW.

I just went to DL for the first time this summer(been wanting to go for years!), been to WDW tons of times. Everyone told me I would be disappointed in DL, but here we go:

1. Disneyland. I just felt it was so much better overall, maybe because it was the original. My kids said so too.
2. I would say this is a tie. Both parks have terrific attractions.
3. I didn't go on, but hubby and kids are huge Spalsh riders and they say WDW. They didn't like the logs at DL. They liked Space better at DL.
4. Way way better at DL. I loved the bayou part at the start and the whole ride is better, 2 drops, and longer. Also we loved Blue Bayou restaurant, and I LOVE my take home special edition menu, Johnny Depp and all!!
5. The ride is the same, but I think the outside is better at WDW.
6. The WDW castle is nicer. We were surprised at how small the DL castle is compared to WDW, but I will say the DL is beautiful too.
7. Indianana Jones. My kids had to push me to go on it as I am a huge wimp, but it was awesome! I also adored Peter Pan, loved the twinkling lights.
8. Peter Pan, just so "Disney"!
9. I would have to say Peter Pan at both parks. The ride just holds a special place in my heart.
10. The cast members are great in both parks. I have to say though that the ones at WDW seem more "programed".
11. Hard one. I have always loved Florida weather, but SoCal has stolen my heart. Also, we found the people in Cal in general are so much more friendly and nicer than people in WDW, and even in Ma where we live. So laid back, polite. We heard horror stories of the freeways, but people actually let you change lanes, not like the crazy Mass drivers! Actually I would live in either place, especially during our cold winters!

Disneyland, but in a way, the question isnt fair because Disneyland crams in attractions that are found at other WDW resort locations.

Disneyland, and this is a fair answer as the attractions overall are much better at Disneyland.

Definately Disneyland. It has recently been refurbished, has a wonderful soundtrack, and the ride vehicles are so much better.

4. Is Pirates of the Caribbean better at Disneyland or WDW Magic Kingdom?

Disneyland's has always been better as it is longer and has more story to it. I unfortunately have not riden the new version at DL yet, but have riden it at WDW and I can only imagine how much better the DL one is now.

Never really noticed a difference, except for the exterior. If I judge that, then I would have to go with WDW.

Cinderella's. I was so disappointed when I saw Sleeping Beauty's castle for the first time.
