Disneyland Virtual Earth Map

That was incredible to look at but kind of freaked me out....dunno why. :confused3

Notice how small Sleeping Beauty's castle is, in fact if you didn't know where it was you might miss it. :rotfl: princess:

The riverboat (I assume that is what it is) is HUGE! WoW!

Thanks for sharing

I almost didn't see the castle either. Viewing it from above really is strange but I like the fact I could see exactly where we would walk across Harbor Blvd and into the park from BWPPI. We leave in 3 days.

Thanks, that's a cool one. I use Google Earth at work all the time and "pop" in now and again - but this one was so much clearer. I like. Thanks. :thumbsup2

Same Ive used google earth as well but I dont like it near as much as this one. Thanks so much! :worship:

I've been playing with it.

When I scrolled to the right for a view of the HoJo I saw the old Blue Bus depot - where guests used to be able to get rides to other theme parks & shows, like Medievel Times, but when I zoom out, the picture updates to show that the depot no longer sits there -- kind of cool.

The pic still shows the 50th anniversary mouse ears, but if you can see the old view, you can see the mouse ears before the 50th anniversary, and also the post 1998/pre 2005 view of Tomorrowland. Check out space mountain - blue and gold to white. You can also see where people could get wet by the big marble ball in Tomorrowland... before. :)

Thanks for posting this it is really cool!

It is funny to see where it won't have a recent picture or it suddenly changes from a sunny to a cloudy day.

I had to pop over to WDW too! I should check on USF and see if there is any update on the Harry Potter area!

Jeez-- was looking at the Howard Johnson--it is huge! It really is a hotel vs/motel.

Wish I could see it. The link doesn't work for either Safari or Camino on my Mac. All I get is a plain white box where the map/picture should be. Is there something I need to download?

I was doing the *same* thing! :rotfl: We will stay at BWPPI in May and June!

I'm confused, the marble is still there......

I was looking at the sub ride, it's dry in this map! lol

I noticed that also..I wonder how often it is updated. I am hoping the crowd level that i see on this view is what we will experience when we get there Tuesday :) In my dreams...

It wouldn't work on Safari for me either. Try downloading Mozilla Firefox. It works on that :thumbsup2
