Disneyland-Using Points & Cash?

Has anyone used points for the Disneyland Hotel for some nights and paid cash for the other...can this be done? Can DVC make the full reservation? Does it effect your park passes?

We did it at the Grand Californian. We paid cash for two nights and used points for two nights.

I didn't think Disneyland reservations included park passes. I know Disneyland Paris does, but I don't think that any of the Disneyland hotels include park passes with a point ressie.

You are correct. DVC stays at Disneyland California do not include passes. Also they do not have the same ticket structure as WDW. They have hopper pass type tickets and single day tickets only. So you can buy a hopper pass for the total number of days for both your cash and point stay.

You will need to call Disneyland Reservations to make your cash stay. Make sure they link the reservations so that you will not have to change rooms.

We stayed on a point/cash stay a few years back at the Grand California. It was great. Enjoy your trip.
