Glad to hear GCH was great, as usual. I really appreciate your restaurant notes too. Last trip I discovered how much I love the sourdough bread at DCA. I ended up bringing home a giant Mickey loaf. It was delicious! Planning on doing that again, with of course, many other treats

Hopefully the crowds are still good for my trip next week. I'll try to actually do a trip report this time...you've inspired me!

Not to discourage anyone from getting the very cute Mickey Mouse sourdough loaves, but for the record, the non-character shapes (i.e., what Boudin sells at all of its other stores) are nearly half the price of the Mickey bread. Something to consider when stocking up on sourdough to bring home from Disneyland. (As I've mentioned before, they freeze well.)

Happy to hear you enjoyed May! I may go Memorial Day next year. People find it hard to believe, but it is true that the holiday weekends are less crowded. I went July 4th last year and again this year. It really is very manageable!

I enjoyed May very much. Memorial Day weekend Fri to Monday was great....low crowds no Grad nites.
