I am a DL newbie (well, went once in the 70s!) but a WDW 'vet'. So DL is a whole new experience for me and my family. We are going to spend two full days at DL/DCA/DD with park hoppers. So what the heck do we do???

What are the difficult attractions (like Soarin at Epcot) that we should target first thing in the morning? Or get fastpasses for?

I did read the DL for WDW Vets article (thanks Hydroguy!) so that was a good starting point. And I've read up on Allearsnet (which is a bit outdated I think) so it looks like fantasyland is the thing to do first (well, for others - we aren't fantasyland kind of people ;)). Any other tips?

Thank you!!!!

In DCA, Soarin and Californian Screemin need FP the most. TSMM gets a long line. Neither Soarin or TSMM have half the line they do in WDW.

In DL, ST, Indy, Space, and Splash all get long lines and have FP. Since it's Spring Break they could run out of FPs, in the same order, very common for ST, semi common for Indy, and Space. Splash depends on the weather more, if it's hot which it may be it has much stronger demand than a cool day which is may be.

Only start in FL if you are into those rides. Hit it late at night if you just need to ride them, which I would since they are different than the MK versions. Peter Pan will have a consistently long line from shortly after opening until right before close.

On non Magic Morning days(the EMH perk for people with 3 days hopper and onsite guests on Tue, Thur, Sat and Sun), go probably to TL. On MM days since MM is only in TL and FL it's best to go to Adventureland since it is not already crowded when regular guests come in.

DCA opens unofficially at 9:30. You can get into a small part of the park and ride Soarin, get Soaring FPs. Get WoC show tickets. Probably ride LM a little later. At 10am the rope drops to the pier area. Most people go to TSMM many to California Screemin from the rope drop.

Since park hopping it so easy. Maximize your use of FP, by having a runner collect FPs. DL FPs, are not connected to DCA FPs.

HOLY good info!!! Thank you so much!! What is ST? And TL? LM? Definitely a DL newbie here (or really oldie and haven't been back since then!)
