Hi, how easy is it to get to the Packing District by bus from DL? Is it a safe area to walk around in? We want to visit during the day and I understand its 3 or 4 blocks to walk from the bus stop. Any recommendations for places to eat there?

It's a pretty safe area. It's the gentrified part of Anaheim. Just walk around and check out all the stalls and see what appeals to you because there is a lot of variety.

I like Tacos El Gringo and the Kroft.

Not sure if this is too dated, but I found this in a search.

Depends on what "by bus" means. I haven't taken OCTA to the Packing District, but have taken ART, which has a stop (shared with OCTA) right across the street from Anaheim Packing House in front of a brewpub. There isn't any scheduled service there on ART, but I've only gotten there via ART's on-demand service, which requires access to one of their compatible apps.

As far as what to get, I've tried Hans Homemade (ice cream) and The Kroft. My kid was a little bit disappointed that they didn't have licorice ice cream which they've had in the past. The Kroft is more comfort food, and I've only had variations on poutine.

They also have a place called Popbar. They have dipped popsicles. There's one closer to home but I haven't tried it yet.
