Hey there all,

Just wondering if any of you know of any longer time period ticket options for Disneyland California. I had a peek on their website and it only shows options of up to 5 days - is this all really? I don't really want to buy 2, 5 day tickets for each member of the family!

We Anzacs can get a 10 day ticket to Disneyland. Not sure who has them at the moment but I am sure someone will be along soon and let you know. You might also want to check out a annual pass and the associated benefits/discounts even if you only get one for one of you party.

Happy planning:surfweb:

Australians can buy 10 day passes (that are valid for 13 days after first use).

You can't buy it through Disneyland direct though, you have to get it from a Travel Agent in Australia beforehand. You will get a voucher that you can redeem at a DLR hotel when you check in or at the ticket booth (if staying offsite or you don't want to do it at check in).

Many of us here use http://www.mypersonaltravelplanner.com.au/

I have used her twice recently on separate occasions and the vouchers were emailed so quickly I was surprised! Have since used the vouchers at Disneyland. :thumbsup2

Yep! Just used mypersonaltravelplanner.com.au today and was bragging away on FB to all my friends about how awesome the service is.

It's awesome we can get the longer passes :)

They reduced the number to 5 days a couple of years ago as they have issues with unused tickets being sold or shared in Disneyland, this helps to minimise that problem. As others have mentioned Australian residents are able to purchase a 10-day park hopper locally before they go and redeem the voucher. This means you would be looking at a room-only reservation for your accommodation. Currently around $380 AUD for an adult.

Thanks guys, I knew you'd all be in the know! 13 days sounds fantastic :-) I want to go home totally over it, but I know from past experiences that is unlikely :rotfl2:

Disneyland US makes everything just really really hard for people.

Park hours? You know JUST before your trip.
Discounts on hotels? Probably a few weeks before going!
Want to visit more than 5 days? TOUGH
Dining reservations - at least you can email them now.

They need a giant smack.

I'm not even sure how long we'll be able to email for dining reservations. Technically, they're supposed to guarantee every reservation with a credit card (the last time I called they claimed they would be ringing people who only provided a phone number to get the card details) and the email address isn't listed on the updated site. I asked in my last email if the option to email them was going away but they didn't clarify. I'll keep my fingers crossed they let us international guests keep emailing!

They are not asking for credit card details yet. I called a couple of days ago for reservations and no credit card needed.

I guess these 13 day tickets wouldn't include any of my beloved 'Magic Mornings'??

It's unfortunately not 13 day tickets. It's 10 day tickets that you have to use within 13 days of your first visit. Does that make sense. So you can't use 5 days, then go away for a week and come back and use the other 5 days. 10 days is the highest we can get. We are going for 15 days so have to get annual passes for everyone. That adds up to $3000 for us. ouch.

Oh and you get one early entry day with those tickets but I think it's only to disneyland and not into DCA. Only hotel guest get the ee into DCA.

Have you been before Meemoo? We find the best day to use the early entry ticket is on a very early morning. I the park opens at 8 on a Saturday, there are less people ready to go into the parks at 7am. Best to be there by 6:30 :) If the park opens at 10am, then heaps of people are ready to be there at 9, so those early entry days are much busier than the 7am early entry days.

Yup, I've been a couple of times but not since my kiddies have been around. The Magic Morning was very memorable, I remember going in on a winter's morning, it was all misty and you could approach characters with no line up and get straight onto a ride - magical!

10 days total would be enough - I'd like to swing by my DVC home resort Aulani on the way back if I visit the mainland!

Thanks for the tips everyone :)
