We plan to go to the park on our arrival day. If our plane is severely delayed, will we be able to modify the tickets to another date? Thanks.

If reservations are available for the new date, yes, you can cancel your existing reservation and book a new one. When is your trip? Reservations can sell out at busy times of the year.

We will be there in mid-January 2025. Do both parks typically sell out during that time frame? If Disneyland is sold out, can we still enter it after going to DCA?

It’s hard to know if a day will sell out, there are so many factors (holidays, weekend vs. weekday, special promotions beginning or ending, Disney releasing some random “thing” everyone needs to buy. But yes, sometimes DL is sold out and DCA is not. And the type of ticket reservation matters too, sometimes park hoppers are not available but single park reservations are available.

What day are you going?

Are you just coming for one day? Consider going to Downtown Disney on arrival day, maybe walk to Trader Sams, Grand Calif or Disneyland Hotel for a snack/drink, and then booking your park(s) for the next day. You can shop and enjoy the ambiance of Downtown Disney without stress, and be relaxed about your park reservations for the next day. If you get in super early, just see if there are tickets when you get there, and go with a little "is what it is" attitude?

No, that's unlikely. It's one of the slowest times of the year. You should be fine. But keep an eye on the reservation calendar and make sure the park you want is available on the day you want before you cancel your current reservation.

It sounds like you have multiday tickets (because you mentioned going to a park on your arrival day), so maybe you already have your other days booked. Are you looking to add another day at the end of your stay if you don't use a ticket the first day?

Yes, that would be the back up plan. We're staying 5 nights and I plan to get a 4 day ticket with park hopper.
