The sweepstakes runs on a 24 hr cycle. From 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. So if you're at the ready on line at @7 in the a.m. you will see the new word of the day.

I enter normally each day from wino country lol (Sonoma) Anyway from Nor Cal.
No, don't have to be in the park for the weekly prize only near by for the daily prize. You must be present within the alloted time. Which I don't know or cannot remember if that is within the hour or less then that. To enter for the daily park prize one must enter by 11 a.m. PST. otherwise you will be entered for the weekly prize. And you may enter each day with the new word of the day.

Has anyone else gotten the message that additional entries via text/ tablet today are not allowed? It kept telling me that the online form was expired when I autofilled my info and tried submitting, then I finally entered it all individually into the boxes and it accepted it. Has this happened for anyone else?

This happens to me occasionally (I use autofill, too), but I just keep re-hitting submit and after a couple of tries it always goes through.
