I went with my cousin and her 5 y/o daughter to Disneyland the other day and while waiting in line for POTC, all of a sudden she had to pee BADLY. She didn't say anything sadly until it was too late. She started to cry and right before we were going to cross over the boats to get out quick to get her to a restroom, she had an accident (it happens). The cast members not only made her and her embarrassed mom feel better, they wrote a voucher for my cousin to take to any store and get her daughter a new pair of pants and shoes at no cost to us!! I did not know that Disney did this, but they said it happens and they don't want people's trips to be ruined. Disney Magic.

Disney was amazing with us on this trip last week as well! We were having lunch at Carthay Circle and my husband accidentally broke one of the stems on the water glasses (still not sure how he managed that :P) The glass flew straight towards our daughter. Thankfully she wasn't hurt at all! But as we were trying to get the glass off of her clothes and high chair, I somehow managed to get a piece of glass lodged in my finger. I thought I had just cut myself until I applied pressure to the cut and it hurt a LOT. Thankfully there was a wonderful guest in the bathroom who had a pair of tweezers who helped me out. I put a bandaid on when I got back to the table, and a CM came over and gave us a voucher for a small plush to make up for the scare DD had with it breaking on her.

The accident was in no way Disney's fault, and they did everything they could to help us afterwards. They certainly didn't need to give us a voucher, but the CM said she wanted to make it up to DD (not the exact wording, but something like that). We ended up using the voucher to get DD a small stuffed Zero, as Haunted Mansion Holiday turned out to be one of her favorite rides...giggling in the stretch room and everything! (Go figure!) Excellent customer service from Disney, turning a scary moment into a fun memory of a favorite ride instead.

That's Disney magic!! Long lines can be so hard on kids and their little bladders. We've had to abandon lines for the potty many times. ;)
