Ok I thought opening day for mansion was September 12th did they change it cause from your sig it says you go in October. I am asking cause I wll be there September 15 and thought it would be already open

This is something I always tell people coming to Disneyland and I'm sure its listed for WDW too on their site..Check the schedule as time gets closer to your trip. It helps cause they will list what will be closed during your visit and help you be prepared. And so you know the info I saw says WDW HM is open back up Sept 13. Have fun when you go.

...We had a similar discussion a while back about what to buy to get VMK cards, and wasn't it you Goofy, who suggested that you can buy a gift card as a purchase and then use that card anywhere in the park to buy something?

Yeah - I used to buy a $5 Gift Card at the Magic Shop and get a Magic Mirror card. I hadn't ever tried that trick for other cards. Though I'd use that Gift Card to buy things at Pooh Corner and what not. Don't know if it could be done at the Movie/Music shop. Hmm...

Though the last time I tried the buy a GC at the Magic Shop a different CM wouldn't let me do it for a VMK card (so I didn't bother). He said they didn't do that anymore... I bet if I saw my old "friend" she'd hook me up though.
