Do any of the hotels allow 5 in a room? If so, which one.

Which is the nicest? I will be using points...so...one room would be best. I am wondering if the have the trundle beds (spelling??) or if a rollaway can be rented.

Thanks,
Kim

We like GC the best. Think AKL or WL in the quality of the theming. It is also the most expensive and newest resort. We are staying there this September on points. It will be our third stay, but first on points.

The GC has rooms with bunkbeds, but not sure on the number allowed. I'd check the DL resort website.

I've been doing some research on Disneyland, and it appears some (if not all) of the rooms at the Disneyland Hotel and the Grand Californian sleep five. They have two queen sized beds and a couch in the rooms, and when you pull the cushions off the couch, there is a twin sized bed underneathe. I'm not sure if all rooms have that, though.

The GC rooms with bunk beds also have a trundle and a Queen so they sleep 5.
GC is great by the way. Quick walk to either park.

Quick Walk - I'll say! It is *IN* DCA!!! (well, not actually inside, but there is an entrance into DCA right on the grounds of the hotel. It really is just a short walk to Disneyland, either from the DCA gate or the hotel entrance in Downtown Disney).

We love the Grand Calif., and they do have a bunkbed option with a trundle underneath. Just be aware that the bunk beds and trundle are for small people, under 5 foot. If you have teenagers this may not be your best option. You can always call the resort directly and they will give you the straight info on room configurations.
Have fun!

Enjoy life and great vacations!

I just came back from Disneyland Hotel. My room had two queen beds and it worked fine for my family of five. But then my kids are pretty young. Next time, I'll ask for Sierra Tower (I think that's the name) b/c it's closest to the monorail (which was great quick entry into the park). I also hope to stay at Grand California someday.

I would add my vote to those who prefer the GC. We stayed there for NYE year before last with 5 people and it was just great. I think extreme luxury helps me to deal with what otherwise would be a really difficult situation (5 people in one hotel room.) My son, who was 3 at the time, slept with us so I don't know if it would have been possible with 5 grown-ups.

My brother was one of the other people on this trip -- he pretty much goes his own way -- which really made it more like 4 of us in the room most of the time.

It helps that not everyone needed to shower in the morning, either. If everyone had to shower and primp at the same time it would not have worked.
