Disneyland Resort Express

Just wondering has anybody used the DL Resort Express? The first time we went to DL (2010) we rented a car, the only other place other than our hotel, the Grand Californian, was In and Out Burger and Bubba Gump's, those places are just a few miles from DL, the rest of the time it stayed parked. So I guess my question is, if we take the bus, are cabs availble to get food elsewhere?

We rented a car our first 3 trips and didn't use it that much. This last trip we took the DL Express and figured we could always rent a car if we decided we needed one. We loved not having to worry about driving!! The DL express worked out great. We are not renting a car again this fall.

The Disneyland Express Bus worked great for me when I flew into John Wayne Airport. Once your plane lands, it is easy to find Ground Transportation. The Bus is outside waiting, usually, and has a quite frequent schedule.

I would go with the Disneyland Express without a doubt. We'll be using it for the third time in a few weeks. Not too expensive, very friendly service and easy way to get to and from Disneyland.

You can also use the ART (Anaheim Resort Transit) shuttle to get to places and restaurants around Anaheim. You do need a ticket for it and you can normally purchase it at your hotel. For a day it is $4 for an adult and $1 per child ages 3-9. To get to other places outside of Anaheim, depending where you go a taxi should not cost too much to get there!
