Disneyland Resort and Park Tickets

My family and I will be visiting Disneyland Resort for the first time in August. We will be staying at the Grand Californian. I have purchased a vacation package - resort stay plus park tickets. Will it be just like Disney World that when I check in (instead of the magic band) I'll be given my room key which will also have my park tickets on it? Thanks for you help!!

I haven't stayed at GCH but DLR doesn't have magic bands. We had to have our paper ticket on us for entry/fast passes every day

you have a separate room key and park ticket, both plastic card style. you will have a key for every member of your party so that you can all access early entry

Thank you! Another question... since I purchased a package, do you know if I'll receive our park tickets when I check-in at Grand Californian?

Who did you order your package through? Walt Disney Travel Company?

You will only receive a plastic type ticket if the package you purchased specifies you will be getting Souvenir tickets...otherwise, you will get cardstock.
Typically, the tickets will arrive when your vacation package does (about 3 weeks prior to your trip).

I have my package through an online Disney travel company. Thanks for the info!! Just so used to how it's done at Disney World.
