Hi I'm going to disneyland in feb and I have some questions...

1. Which ride is the absolute must to get a fastpass for?
2. For the Blue Bayou (sp?) will I be able to make reservations for maybe the third day i'm there if I call on the first day I arrive or will they be all booked up?
3. Any tips for making a disneyland trip go more smoothly?

Thanks for any help

Fast Pass? All of them! My favorites are Space Mountain and Astro Blasters. But Splash Mountain would be up there on my list, too.

Blue Bayou - If I really wanted to go, I would make reservations in advance. Wouldn't want to take the chance of not getting in.

Smooth trip - Hmmm...I think the thing that made our last trip so wonderful was having 4 days and not feeling like we HAD to keep moving to try to cram everything in. Going to DCA during the afternoons when DL was more likely to be busier was a good decision, too.

- For most eateries such as the Blue Bayou, goofys kitchen etc. DEFINATLY make reservations in advance. I made mine 2 months in advance before. But it was worth it. This is the number for you to call its the Disney Dining number thats on the disneyland.com website. (714) 781-3463

- As for rides fast pass rides, The Haunted Mansion, Soarin over Cali, and Space mountain are my favs and not miss FP rides.

- I have to agree with the post above that 4 days is a good amount of time to go at a leasurly pace so your not running the 8 mile walks each day to try and cram everything in. Make sure that you have some set events that you want to attend, such as a parades, fireworks, a dinner or some shows such as Turtle talk. Make sure you have a list of things that you really really want to see, so you can at least get in what you want so if you dont see it all then at least your not that disappointed if you didnt get to do most of what you wanted.

If you have an early entry day, make sure you take advantage of that and go into fantasyland & tomorrowland. Especially fantasyland cause you can get right onto most of those rides before the line ups hit. Its a good way to see that are of the park an hour before the rest of the crowds.

I made my Blue Bayou reservation one week before my trip and it was at a busy time. We didn't have any problem. I don't know that I'd wait until I'm there, but you should be okay if you give them a call now.

Welcome to the DIS! The more info you give, the more info you get!

Please tell us who's in your travel party, where you're staying, is this a first trip for everybody, etc., etc., etc., then watch the information fly! :surfweb:

For example, if you are going mid-week in early Feb, you could probably get Bayou ressies with no trouble. If you want Pres weekend, call yesterday!

Everytime I've eaten at BB, I've been able to walk up and wait less than 15 min. for a table (mid May).

1) Space! Then Splash, Indy, BTMRR, Autopia, RRCtS, BLAB in that order

Soarin, Screamin, ToT, Mulholland Madness, GRR for DCA

2) If you're going during President's week get reservations now! Don't wait. You should be fine if you're going other than that week.

3) Take your time, most likely crowds won't be huge so you won't have many long lines, but on the other hand, hours are shorter. 3 days should be a perfect amount of time to see what you want.
