Disneyland Pools

Does anyone know if any of the pools will be use able the first weekend in october? I am worried about staying there is nothing is usable? I know they used to have 2 pools? Thoughts

If they have closed all the DHL pools, I'm sure you will be able to use the pool at the GCH or PP. Disney makes sure a pool is available.

no way am I walking with 4 kids under 9 to a pool at another resort.....I am better off booking Paradise Pier which is $10 cheaper.....GC is to expensive right now.

I booked GCH today with a PIN number, super excited. Anyways, they told me the DLH pool would be closed (mid October) but if I booked there I could use one of the other resort pools.

I through my out, but you could get the GCH for 40% off. DLH and PP also had discounts of a lesser percent. Did you get one for your trip?

I got a mailing with a PIN number with discounts of up to 25, 30or35 and 40% off at PP, DLH and GC.

Rate for PP was 175, DLH 182 and GC 225 for our nights. Discount is only off of standard or concierge rooms and subject to availability. They do verify the PIN with your name/address when you call.

bummer I would like the rates they are better that what I am being offered for AP rates

I am being offered

PP = $328 for 2 nights

DL = $398 for 2 nights

GC = $564 for 2 nights

Not sure when you are going but I got a "pin-code" rate through expedia for Sept. 40% off of a Standard View at the GCR - 213/night.

According to the DHL staff, the Cove Pool is remaining open and guest will be allowed to use pools at PP and GCH.

I just confirmed twice - it is the Cove Pool that is closing on 8/16 and the Neverland Pool will remain open. The CM said that the Neverland Pool will remain open until the new pools are ready to go.

I got the same answer, but with a "if it does close at sometime then you can use the other hotels' pools". That didn't sit too well with me, so I booked GCH. Though I'm struggling with my decision...if everyone is switching to GCH and PPH, then I might have a good chance getting a renovated room at DLH. Decisions decisions!

Tough choice - I love the GCH but just stayed at the DLH in a new room and they are spectacular!! If they closed the pool, I would be surprised if it was before the off season but....

Me too..I was told Neverland pool was closing??Ugh...Who knows??

That is what I thought too which is why I called twice and specifically repeated that the Neverland pool was remaining open Wish the info was consistent

Just to add to the confusion, I sent an email hoping for some confirmation in writing. The response was that they haven't made that decision yet. Surely that can't be true!

I didn't think they were making any changes to the cove pool only the Neverland Pool, that is why I didn't question it. Are they making changes to it?

I just booked the DLH today for October (with a pin-code) and was told that they had no date for the Neverland pool to close. I don't know how much swimming we will do in October but I hope this is true.

Wait what is the cove pool? Where is that in relation to the Neverland pool? I am confused
