Wayne - I loved this show. Do you remember the Sparkletts water show at Sea World? I remember that as a kid in the 70's. It was in an inside theatre where it was dark and cool and great on a hot summer day.

I enjoy the history that you bring to the DL podcast.

Yep, I certainly went to the Sea World show. Good show. Those fountains were mostly commercial formations made by Rain Jet. The Dancing Waters folks used to tease that show because "you could buy it at the hardware store". Lol. But the show was well done and I enjoy all water shows.

I got a "backstage tour" of the Sea World show once. Besides a very good automation system, their system had a major advantage over the Dancing Waters system; all their pumps had good filters so you didn't get particles in the jets that would block them. The Dancing Waters fountains only had big mesh filters and the little individual jets would always get clogged. I spent a lot of time each day cleaning jets by hand; all 1200 of them!

I am glad this is being done. Our past, even details like Dancing Waters, jets, lasers, should be recorded
