Disneyland Pin Codes?

I got an e-mail last month. Valid for most nights 5/1-5/28. I'm pretty sure it was tied to my DVD request as well. Unfortunately, our plans miss this by a week.

I don't get PIN codes, and when I looked into it I was told that the discounts sent by PIN are later opened/announced to the public at large. You're just getting them first.

So I've never worried about not getting PINs.

Does anyone know whether my information is correct?

I received the same offer that others are talking about for the month of May by mail. On the front of the piece it says "Thanks for taking a recent vacation. Go directly inside to why you'll be game for another one!"

My offer said I had to book by today, but when I called the PIN code wasn't working. ACK! Fortunately I had a wonderful CM that was able to get me the $163 rate at PP!!! :cool1:

I got a Disneyland PIN code in my email a couple of weeks ago. I'm so bummed; I can't use it :( ($$$)

Here's what it said:

and then...

and it looks like there's no minimum stay -- I wish we could go for one night even, but we can't right now :(

I'm so jealous. I would love to get that PIN code, wish I could figure out the formula. Want to try staying onsite somewhere other than the Villas (blasphemy, I know, but we only have enough pts for 1 week/year). I think the max I could stomach paying is $160/night.

I've ordered the planning DVD's, looked at hotels through the Disney site but not booked, booked WDW through the Disney site, have the Disney Visa, etc., etc. and have never received a pin code! Boo!

I'm SO hoping to get one for our June trip. Really, really want to stay on property but just can not pay over $250/night for standard PPH.

Thank you for all of this information. I just got an email a few days ago with a pin code and had absolutely no clue what it was for. We have already booked hotel for our trip (Friday!!!) so we can't use it. Will I still get emails with pin codes in the future? Is this a regular thing that I can expect for upcoming trips or is it something that only happens once in a blue moon like the coveted invitations to Club 33?

Thank you!!!

I get DL codes all the time but they are never good for when we are going. Our dates this year are November 3-8; the code I got recently is only good through October 31 :headache:

Disney seems to have got in their head we are going in October because I keep getting mailings that say "your October trip is getting closer" not sure were they got that idea because every thing I fill out says November.

I've received pin codes in the mail many times. 1 came to my work address where I only use for my D23 membership. 1 came because I answered a survey when I entered the park (I know because the girl spelt my name wrong but I though it to much trouble to have her change it also tell your household income is > $250,000 and you spend a lot of money on souveniers!). Also, buying vacation packages through WDTC in the past helps your odds too.

Somebody on another thread was kind enough to post that the new Ap rates are out thru June. For my dates PPH is $188 which is still too high fr me to justify when I have FFI for $98 across the street, but if somebody else wants to book an AP rate they're there!

O M G - so so very excited. Years ago we were in the coveted PIN code receiver list; we used a code for our very first WDW trip & continued to receive (& use) them for a few years. Then we moved, and started booking trips ourself instead of with a TA, & the emails / postcards with codes quit coming. I chased after the illusive PIN codes for several years, and alas could never seem to get any. Then 3 months ago we decided to aim for a 2017 DL trip. Ordered a DVD. Played around with a vacation online. Boom! Today I have an email from Disney Destinations - the email address we used to get PIN codes from. No code, but there is a link for a special hotel pricing offer. Wahoo! We have hopefully awakened the Disney Marketing giant & may start getting PIN codes again...:jumping1:

We get emails with pin codes every so often. But when you actually look into the offer they are usually just the same deals that are already going on. Sometimes they have included discounts on weekends (disneyland discounts are usually just for stays sun-thursday), or at max 5% better than what is currently being offered. Gone are the days of the elusive huge pin code deals.

We get PIN codes from WDW a few times a year. But I doubt very much we'll be going back there any time soon, whereas I'd love to hit DLR at least once, preferably more, every year. I've never gotten a PIN code for DLR, though.

Well just for giggles I added a WDW trip to my MDE basket to see if I could get some sort of offer / email or code - since we are now getting DLR but would certainly prefer codes for our 'home' ('WDW)
