I've been away for a while and boy I just have to say everyones photos have been awesome! Steve'sGirl and GoofyonthehighSeas are you both now using lightroom's latest version for PP? I am blown away by how the metals in your photos just pop! For example Wendy, your photo of Mickey in the partner statue and your green car in toontown photo, also Roger, your photo of the Sword in the Stone. All of your photos are just awesome!

Thank you very much. Yes I have been using LR3beta2 since it has been out and truly impressed.

Since this is the "Photo" thread I thought this would be a great place to ask since so many of you are amazing photographers. My kids are in several sports and while I have a fine little point and shot kodak digital camera it is NOT very good at taking much more than just close ups of stuff. As long as you have "good" lighting and are "close" to the subject it is fine but if you are trying to take ANY kind of action shots or anything far away forget it. And forget night shots.

I would like a good digital that takes rapid fire action shots for sports and also will take good quality distance photos ie we go to a lot of the kids performances at church or at school and I want to be able to take their picture if I am sitting back several rows and have it actually TURN OUT! I would like to spend no more than about 600 bucks. So any recommendations???

It is much appreciated. THANKS!

Look at the bridge camera's. Sony's HX series is excellent and will meet your price point. There also is a photography board on the main page.

You should ask this on the photography board. How much are you wanting to spend.
