Nice one! How did you capture this photo? I tried so many times on my last trip and it always came out blurred or if it came out was at the wrong angle so you couldn't really see his face. Can you share your Exif Data? Thanks! Pirates is one of my absolute favorite rides!

f/2.8 for 1/30 seconds at 1600 ISO sensitivity. Cropped, cleaned, sharpened using Photoshop.

Thanks DSF! Below is the EXIF. I've gotten to where I like using a smaller aperture for longer exposures lately. This one was f/16 but I typically stay closer to f/11 depending on which lens and now definitely with the D300 body.


Nikon D80
Sigma 18-50mm @ 18mm
Shutter 11.3 seconds
Aperture f/16
ISO 100
