Disneyland Pet Peeves!

It makes me mad to see a CM getting yelled at. I can guess that the CM didn't cause the guests situation. Also I can guess that if given a chance he or she would have a proper response to the situation and didn't need to yell at the guest.

Omg, I saw that happened this weekend while waiting in the FP line for space mountain. A guest yelled AT the CM because the guests FP was NOT VALID. … the cm was nice enough to let the guest go into the ride anyway…what did the guest do? Oh well called the cm a few names and some language that many little kids should never hear(a lot of little kids were around)…. :sad2:

If they were disboards members they would not be wrong.. sadly they are not , and I think next time I will correct them!!!

I would see this all the time when I was a boat captain on a mountain lake. Because of the point of view on the lake one peak was prominent. There would always be some person telling thier travel companions that that was the highest peak. So I would announce to the whole boat that this peak we could see is so close that it actually is blocking the view of the main peak which is 1,500 feet taller. Happened every single day, all summer long. :sad2:

..ohh the things I hear though from park guests at Disneyland/dca, being a Dis member I know my points of interest…ok but tourists and other guests don’t.. I hear the wackiest things….the matterhorn/GRR bear rock was the icing on the cake.

The last two times I was at Disneyland it wasn't flash photography that bugged me, it was the cell phones being held up at my level of sight recording the whole ride giving off a constant glare and blocking my view at times.

Come on! There has all ready got to be a youtube video of the POTC ride somewhere on the net they could watch. They do this also at The Hollywood Bowl.

Most kids are great. It's fun to watch them enjoying the park, but I can't stand little, no necked monsters running wild and not being minded by their trainers. I blame the parents not the kid.

Yes I know there are a lot of CMs cleaning the trash off the ground. That's not an excuse for throwing your crap on the ground, look up you can see a trash can from everywhere! :sad2:

Exactly! Getting back to cameras...the 'old-school' viewfinder is disappearing and many cameras are now only equipped with an LCD display. These are pretty bright in dark environments and unfortunately, I know some displays can't be turned off. I know, it's small stuff compared to camera flashes, but it is distracting to nearby riders. ;)

It would be GREAT if Disney would sell a digital file release or DVD for an attraction "ride-through". Each film would include all the sounds and visuals of the attraction, so guests would have a high-quality souvenir option for the ride.

*spit-take*

No necked monsters and their trainers. <<< :rotfl2::rotfl: So hilarious!

Not my fault one bit if by accident the kid(no neck monsters) trips as he is running right in front of me in the parade crowd! :rolleyes1

I don't like it when kids run into the ques. Sometimes thier heads get pinched between the railings and my hip.

You know what else bugs me when “no neck” monsters are running loose all over the parks.. this has happened at DCA, I am sure no one can relate but—one was running around in circles in front of me waving his hands in the air (and his parents were in front of him), and I was heading to screamin with a plastic glass of white zinfandel in my hand, I was trying to dodge the little booger but he kept getting in my way—well sure enough his ”waving” hands hit my plastic “glass” and wine went flying ALL over me… :sad2: :sad2: what a waist of wine.. :sad2:

People who stick their gum on stuff. I mean the place is already gum free for a reason..

I discovered a trick at cocktail parties after having been drenched by my own drink several times because someone bumped into me....always hold your glass with the rim tilted away from you so it lands somewhere else. I do always try to aim for an empty area, and I do appologize when it has splashed someone and explain I was jostled... even when it has hit the person who bumped me (maybe they will be more careful).

Those that smoke in the non designated smoking areas like walking down Main Street.

This usually happens after the fireworks when we're all just a little too close for comfort, trying to make our way to the exit.

When people don't have thier tickets out when they get to the gate.
