Disneyland Pet Peeves!

Where is the peeve? My pet peeve, is when a person does not leave a peeve here. ;)

Sorry Gisele!

Here's my peeve...

People who have total disregard for the people around them with where they are going. How many people wander aimlessly around to stop, start in one direction then change direction. This pattern continues for what feels like forever, then they completely go in another direction. It then becomes your fault for running into them.

I remembered one from when we were in the park a couple of weeks ago. On Indiana there is the stand by line and the FP line. If you are in the stand by line, have you ever noticed that the FP always goes no matter what and you're waiting for the next FP to come by when there are none? There will be no FPers and the stand by will be waiting for like 4 or 5 minutes with no FP people. Whenever I'm in stand by this always happens. And usually when I'm at the front of the line.

i agree with orchid. i had to do wdw from an ecv after injuries to both feet. im 6'4" could play tackle for the bears. i could only walk very short distance. the stares, the rude comments, atitudes, i wanted to start busten heads. never again, i'll take the loss on non refundable resevations and stay home:upsidedow

You know what really makes the shell fall off of my mickey icecream bar and onto the ground..........When a child doesn't reach the minimium hieght stick and parents argue with the CM that they rode before, we able to go on such and such, went on this at Magic Mountain. Who is the CM going to believe? His hand didn't pass over the childs head and under the height stick by magic.

You know what really makes me take the bulk of the splash on GRR.......When you see parents taking thier too short kid through the exit because they couldn't enter the regular one.

Personally I hate it when a group of tweens all get together and think that they run the park just because they are in a large pack. Like wolves or something. They giggle and point and talk about people's clothes and appearance very loudly, and just plain act DUMB. I can't stand that.

You know what really leaves only 2 sheets on the toilet paper roll when I sit down to do business.......... When the person with the tickets isn't in line with the group when they are standing at the turnstyle.(as mentioned in my TR)

You know what really splashs the grease all over the stove top.........When people tell a CM well so and so CM let us do it so you should too.

I have 2 of my all time pet peeves 1: Strollers, never noticed how annoying they were until my visit during peak crowd times in Oct. First off the parents parked them any where they darn well pleased, and when it rained they had a tendancy to park them infront of store enterances, where CM's ask them to move them. I tripped over them by accident a couple of times. 2: is something that you wouldn't normally consider evil until they start to annoy you on a constant basis. The root of my pet peeve is the "Light Up Bubble Blower", it's a small plastic gun that blows bubbles at a rapid rate. Innocent you might think, but it's anything but. I got bubbles on my glasses, on my camera lens while I was trying to take pics many times. While the kids love them, I've told DH that when we go to DL in Feb, if he buys one that I'd shoot him first and explain why afterwards.

My son LOVES bubbles!! I have to have some on hand at all times. We found one of those bubble guns at a local fair in town. This particular model dosen't like Mirical Bubbles, it just drips. I'm sorry that it doesn't taste good and that it gets in the way of camera shots. But it keeps my little monkey entertained for hours. I let him blow bubbles on car trips and I have to admit they do get in my perifrial vision, but the constant baby giggles I hear from the back seat are priceless. Nothing makes me smile bigger than a childs innocent laughter.

Yes, but you are talking about one or perhaps 2 children in a car blowing bubbles, which I wouldn't mind normally. But what I'm talking about is alot of kids blowing them as well as CM's who seem to love the darn things and when you are talking about a large amount of bubbles being blown at once, it can be really, really annoying, especially when you get them on your clothing, eye glasses, camera, etc. When the crowds are heavy, you can't avoid getting hit by the darn things and you can't escape them either. I even have a large bubble blower at home that I do bring out on occassion, but only bring it out on special occassions.

I'm sorry it bursts your bubble. But I see that as more to pop.

Okay, I can see how that can get annoying real fast.
