Just got off the phone with Member Services. I was trying to get a Disneyland Paris
ressie for January 2002. I know the point chart had not been released yet, but I wanted
to learn what the procedure was for getting a ressie this far out.
During our phone call, she talked with her supervisor and said that they could not accept
ressies for Disneyland Paris for after November 3, 2001. They are in some kind of
contractual discussion with them right now. I told her that this was not on the dvcmember.com
site. She said it would be soon. That they are in the middle of negotiations now.

Has anyone heard anything about this? Does anyone have a ressie for a date after November
3?

If anyone has any details about this I would appreciate it?

We were trying to get reservations for Christmas and were told the same thing, nothing taken after November 3. Now that you mentioned negotiations, I wonder what that means. Will the points per room go up or are they considering not opening up to DVC?

Isn't it peculiar? How did they pick the Nov. 3rd date? You would think they would
finish the calendar year 2001 before they begin negotiating again!
Oh well, maybe they will have a new contract soon.

Maybe this has something to do with the opening of the studios and the change to the Disneyland Paris RESORT?

I'm hoping to visit for the opening of the Studios, maybe I'll just use cash.
