Has anyone taken advantage of Disneyland Paris on points? I'd be interested in all the information I can get!

Dh just recieved word yesterday that we will be moving to Mons, Belgium this summer. Guess I'll have to cancel my holiday plans at WDW for this December. We do plan to take advantage of Disneyland Paris though while we are living overseas for a few years.

Bring on the info! I need it to help calm my nerves!! (I am due with my second child on 14 June and DH reports to Belgium for his new job on 10 July!!)

Thanks everyone!

I have done DLP on points twice, and to me it was well worth it. But - the amount of points needed does go up each year, so it may not always be good value.

The great thing is that your park passes are included in the rental, which is a huge bonus. It has never been too difficult to get a reservation - even over Christmas.

I traded my points for Newport Bay and Sequoia Lodge, and we preferred Sequoia.

The Disneyland hotel looks great but that is mega points. The second closest to the parks is the New York one, which also looks ok. None of them are far to walk though.

Hi,
We live in Germany (hubby is working for the army) and have been to DLP every year. We have never used our points (ssr owners and love it!) because it is way too high. It would be best to just rent out points and use the $$. They always have special deals if you live here. (3 for 2, kids are free, etc.) We have stayed in all the main hotels except for the Hotel New York. We splurged last year and did Castle Club at the Disneyland hotel. We also did the normal Disneyland hotel, Newport Bay Club, and did a last minute trip at the Sequioa lodge. It is definitely not DisneyWorld but if you can't make the trip home to visit, it will give you the "fix" you need.
Hope this helps.
PM me if you have anymore questions.
Bartty
