Hello,

A diehard Disney Worlder here. I've recently begun to expand my Disney horizons by visiting some of the other parks around the world. Last year I got to visit Tokyo Disney for the first time, and this year I get to experience Disneyland Paris! Even though I know just about everything about Disney World, I'm afraid I know next to nothing about Disneyland Paris. That said, I would be grateful for any insights you pros could share with me. For instance, what some of the highlights of the park (Disneyland only, as we probably won't have time to enjoy the Studios as well)? We will be traveling there in late August (30th)- is that usually a busy time? How's the weather then? Any tips/suggestions/facts you could give me would be very welcome. Thanks so much!!!

I should imagine the weather will be quite warm, although rain is a definite possibility!
You can probably see most, if not all of the park in one day if you plan accordingly. There's plenty of threads on here which you should be able to find with a quick search that detail how to see everything in a short time!
I think the night time spectacular 'Dreams!' is confirmed to still be on when you visit, so that's a must see and is unique to DLP.
Personally, my must-dos would be Big Thunder Mountain (apparently it's different to WDW) and exploring the castle and Main Street USA.
I'll see if I can find the trip report of someone who just visited DLP in one day. She got almost everything done!

Here's EmmabaRose's TR, I think it's the most recent one-day report, so should be quite useful for you.

I've also just thought of the priceless resource that is dlrpmagic.com, it has all the restaurant menus, details of rides, estimate wait times…everything you might need really!

I echo everything above, and would like to add Buzz, Pirates and Phantom Manor to your list! :)

I would try and visit the studios if you can, even just for an hour or two, there's some great rides there. People visiting both parks seem to find it best to start at the studios. It officially opens at 10am but they will let you in at 9:30 to start queuing for rides.

Thanks everyone for all your help!! I just found out about the dragon under the castle yesterday and was ridiculously excited! :yay:
