Okay here's a more cheerful note, as promised. The DLP points are now out - definitely for Nov/Dec and also, according to a post on the US DVC board, for January to April.
So despite my concerns about the affordability of future Member Getaways, we are certainly going to enjoy them now! We won't be able to visit our home resort for a least 18 months, so we are now all booked in for a DLP break in Dec for DH's 40th. We will be staying at the Hotel New York as we've already stayed at Sequoia Lodge and Newport Bay a couple of times, and we fancied a change. Toyed with the idea of the Disneyland Hotel but it was just too many points for us this time, as we needed three rooms. Anyway the NY is more central for visiting different restaurants in the evening and we do enjoy the walk to and from the park(s) - even in the cold and rain! And now EasyJet are flying to Paris it's going to be a great value holiday - so more money to spend while we're there!!
