Disneyland outside food policy

Did Disneyland change their policy on outside food? Or can you still bring in your lunches and snacks?

You can bring in food. They don't care. Just don't bring a huge cooler full of food for an entire family...that's not allowed, they will make you eat in the picnic area outside the park or take it back to your car.

They didn't change their policy. That has been the policy for a long time. They just don't enforce it. No glass bottles or things like knives can be brought in. But they'll let you bring your own food in.

Premake your sandwiches. They fuss at large containers of mayo or mustard. I did get full bag of pretzels in.

No outside food has been the policy for as long as I can remember. Of course they don't seem to enforce it so no one pays attention to it.

its not enforced, and it would be pretty much impossible to enforce now that security has moved to the Parking Structure and away from the Disneyland Picnic area.


I've seen someone have a large pizza delivered to them on Harbor Blvd, walk through security with the only comment from security being a joking "can I have a slice', then proceed to walk right into Disneyland with the pizza.


As long as your food is not in glass containers, large coolers, or contains alcohol, you should be fine.
