I am trying to find out if there are any single day DL only discounts. I have visitors coming into town who only want to visit DL. (they have an infant) It seems really high at $69/person. Anyone know of any discounts for DL only? I have been trying to research it, but no luck. :confused3 Thanks.

$69 is alot but there is a LOT there in DL to see and do - even in just the one park. I don't know of any discounts offhand, but that doesn't mean there aren't any or won't be any in the futures. It seems like DLR is doing things these days to lure people in to the parks in this terrible economy - they have been offering good discounts on the hotels and on Park Hoppers at different times of the year. They are even allowing monthly payments on Annual Passes next year, I think, rather than payment all at once. So it is not impossible for them to offer a discount on one-day/one park tickets at some point, but I think they are really trying to build up business in DCA, so usually the special offers are on Park Hoppers. And really that is the best deal, to get a Park Hopper when they offer them at a lower rate. Because Disneyland is really no longer just Disneyland anymore. It is Disneyland and California Adventure and Downtown Disney and the three hotels, etc. It is the whole package. Disneyland itself can barely be managed in one day anymore because they have added so many things and the crowds are so thick. So if you can get a Park Hopper for a really discounted rate like they sometimes offer, that is the best deal.

Anyone close to you Military? They do offer one day/one park passes at a discount.

Also, if you know someone who is a teacher in CA, they can get discounted tickets. The price is not a lot lower, though. It's $62.50/adult and $55/child for one park, and $73/adult $62/child for a 1-day hopper. You'd only save $6.50 per adult for a 1-park pass.

A couple of questions for you, though. Are you a SoCal resident? If so, aren't there deals you can get? Or were you not planning on going with them? Also, your username suggests you are a college student. Many SoCal schools (assuming that's where you live) offer deals on Disneyland tix.

Costco has the play 4 days package for $139, if you think there's a chance you'll have other guests in the future that might use the other 3 days. They're valid through July of next year.

We are So. Cal residents. Planning to get the AP at Costco. I told her that she could have one of our gift cards from that purchase to help with the costs of her tix...she didn't want to do that. Says that we are doing enough letting them stay here, feeding them, etc. Just trying to find out if there are any other deals out there.

Anyone know if Von's is doing any deals right now?

Husband is retired military. Do these discounts have to be purchased on base? Do you know what the rate is? THANKS

Yes, they have to be purchased at the Ticket & tours Office on Base. The price is:
$64.00 for an Adult pass and $55.00 for a child's pass.

This is Southern CA resident only, right?

I am not sure what is available but have you looked into the So Cal Passes at Vons? You are allowed to purchase a So Cal pass at vons or even at DLR for up to 8 people.
