Disneyland on your Birthday ?

I am planning a trip that will be on my bithday. We will already have 3 day park-hopper passes, so I was wondering what you can get instead. I saw you can get some kind of a gift-card for the same amount as a park-pass. Does anyone know where you can use it? ie: Blue Bayou? Shopping inside the park? Does anyone know?

If you already have a park ticket on your birthday, you can choose from one of the following:

* A one day/one park ticket to use later the same year
* A gift fun card that can be used for shopping at the parks, Disney hotels, and World of Disney store (someone will let us know if this now includes dining)
* Fastpass for you & up to 6 guests (I believe) to go on select attractions at the parks (again, someone will have better details)

On the one day/one park ticket you get, you have 1 year to use it (not nec. just 2009) Also you can use that ticket to upgrade to another ticket or an AP.

Didn't know there was a question about food. Would be nice if they added that.

So, does that mean we could use it to eat at the Blue Bayou? or not??? Does anyone know? How would I go about finding out? : )

I don't know about whether you can use the card for dining now, sorry.

We did the same, we had 3 day park hoppers and chose the gift card and used it at the shops inside the park on main street and also at the splash mtn kiosk to get that photo
