We just got back to the hotel....it's not quite 3:30pm. They already had the signage out telling you that if you're in line to ENTER Disneyland back to "here" is a 30-45 minute wait to get into the park...and here is a 60-90 minute wait. The line was already past the 30-45 minute wait!

We had a great morning at DCA, short lines (10 minutes for Tower of Terror....my daughter went on it 3 times in a row, lol) and low crowds. We were planning to jump over to Disneyland at 3pm (an hour before party goers would be allowed in) so we could find a comfortable seat on Main Street to check out the costumes.....ummmm, nope, not waiting 45 minutes just to get INTO the park, lol.

Hoping that sales don't increase over the weekend for Monday's party.....at this point CMs are saying there are plenty of tickets left for Monday. Hoping for an empty park for our party, lol.

Off to the pool I go!

Thanks for the timely update! We'll be doing the party on 10/11 and I like knowing what we should expect.
We plan on being there early, and I suppose we should expect some waiting. Although tonight was sold out and our Tuesday may be a little less busy.

:scared1:

YIKES! I was there Wed and there was no more than 5-10 minutes on just about all the rides in both DL and DCA! :thumbsup2

We were there from about 9:30 to 1:30 yesterday and it was great! Short lines, but we left early afternoon to go over to DCA as we thought it would get busier before the party. I even thought the park opened at 10 am and they changed it to 8 am at some point so we missed rope drop. Still it was a great day before the crowds descended. I think a lot of people were arriving Fri afternoon for Gay Days too.

We were also there yesterday. From just before 2 to 6. Park started to get pretty crowded starting at 4. But when we got there ST only have a 35 min. wait. We got FP for Space with about an 1-1/2 return.

Biggest problem was leaving the parking structure!:scared1:Once again I am surprised at how congested Disney lets it get basically trapping guest in the structure and exiting. We got to our car about 6:30 and did not get on the 5 until just before 7! AMAZING (and not in a good way) The cars coming into the structure weren't too bad at that time. I think many had already arrived. At least they were directing traffic on Ball. However, I don't know why they were doing it the way they were. There were hardly letting any of the traffic exit DLR, mostly just letting all the other directions go for longer. I can only imagine the back up as we we sitting there in sight of Ball Rd. but wait through 3 rotations to go thru the intersection. While we were waiting they did open the flyover to exit the park but unfortunately we had already passed by the entrance. Wish they had opened it about 20 mins. sooner. ;)

But we had a nice visit. Did a few rides, used up a few of my DV M'nG vouchers that exp. today, and bought my Gallery CD for my coupon for my PP CD for our upcoming WDW and DLR trips.:goodvibes Oh, and watched our favorite chimney sweep in the first parade which was delayed about 15-20 minutes which worked out perfectly since the clouds covered the sun for most of it.

Oh, and it was pretty funny watching everyone run when the rain hit! Big drops fell for just a few minutes while I was in the PP store.

But now I have learned-leave way before a hard ticketed event (I've been stuck in the structure once before-45 min. during a CM Holiday party) or maybe park at Toy Story.

We pretty much had the same experience. Yesterday was our last day (flew home late last night). We started off the morning in CA, so we could get in TSM, TOT, etc.

The park was pretty empty! We did TSM twice, TOT 3 times in a row with NO wait. It was fantastic. We went over to DL after lunch, so we could finish up our loose ends. It wasn't bad at first, but by about 3:00, it was too much for us. We ended up leaving the park! We had lunch and shopped in DTD before we left!

Thankfully, the rest of the week was great. Monday was a little busy, compared to Tues, Wed, Thurs.
