Will the DL 50 year anniversary celebration start in October 2004?

I'm guessing so, since it's the start of a new fiscal year and most recent celebrations have started in Oct. We're looking at going at that time, but with the recent posts from roymcoy and dscoop, I'm obviously concerned.

I would hope that they can at least make some improvements and I won't be disappointed.

I've only been to DL once, last June for a little over half a day, and the things that stuck in my mind was

It felt old
The castle was too small and made us laugh
Indy Jones ride was great
100 Mickeys exhibit was awesome

So far, they've announced nothing for the 50th Anniversary at Disneyland. Disney WORLD, however is beginning a 50th anniversary celebration in October 2004.

They did announce the celebration during the Investor press conference. It starts in May 2005, not October 2004, and supposedly spans all five Disney resorts.

I wish more would come out as we are planning a summer vacation road trip to from the East coast to DisneyLand in 2005.
