Disneyland Oct 2015 Recs needed

We are returning to DL in mid-October. My kids will be 12, two 8 year olds and a 2.5 year old. The last time we were there was for the oldest's 8th birthday and the little ones were almost 4.

We have our dates and want to stay at the Californian this time. What I do not have is the bandwidth to search endlessly for deals and reservations - I almost drove myself crazy last time. So I would like to work with a DL travel agent but need to understand how that works and who I should work with.

Do you mean you'll be there in 2015? I got an email from orbitz for 25% off of a hotel stay and used it for the Grand Californian. Make sure you sign up for an email and it might be sent to you, so won't have to actively be searching for it. I don't know about the agent though. You could always see about renting timeshare points too.
