So does anyone have any news on what is going to be going on at DLR March 2012.

Trying to figure out the best time to take my 3 year old for the first trip.

Thanks

Lots of work on DL's Main Street and DCA's entrance.

Other than that. It depends, March has two halves. The first half is quiet with more rehabs, the second half is busy with less rehabs.

If your 3 year old is into Pixar Cars then Cars Land is supposed to open in June 2012. FYI.

We'll be there March 17-24 and are expecting the parks to be crowded but really have no idea. This will be our first March trip. Hopefully some experienced Dis folks will be able to help out.

I've been over this period before and with Easter coming at the end of the first week of April. So my experience is probably similar to what will happen this Spring.

I didn't find it bad at all during the week, but busy, though not close to terrible, on the weekend. I found it really easy to move around and fine places for shows and get lots of rides in with basic tactics like using FP and showing up early.

Thanks for the info. I know the cheerleader groups will be there during part of our visit but don't how much they'll impact the parks.

I didn't know that they were going to do significant work on Main St. What are the plans? How long will it be torn up? Have a pointer to a site with project plans? Thanks.
