Disneyland Lens ?

Does anyone know if Disneyland security are still harassing photographers with lenses over a certain length? I realize it is a few months off but I just booked a long weekend over Labor Day and need to plan accordingly for lens selection.

We go quite a bit and have never been hassled about camera equipment. I usually go through security with my D90 and an 18-105 attached. In my backpack I have any or all of the following 30mm, 11-16mm, 70-300mm with assorted other equipment.

It has been a while, but I got hassled a couple of times for having my 70-200 f/2.8.

They have no writen policy, just a picture of what shouldn't be allowed, it's pretty much a joke. If they hastle you just ask to speak to a supervisor and explain that the little point and shoot the just let though has more zoom than anything in your bag. Also, that you're not a papparazi, just want to take shots of your vacation. They will let you in. Or you could just point to the double wide stoller that goes in and ask how come they aren't enforcing that rule?

I've brought my D200 along with the 70-200/f2.8 and haven't encountered any problems. Of course, I leave it in the bag until I need it.

Off topic: Be prepared for a crowded weekend during your trip. The Disneyland 1/2 Marathon is that weekend so crowds will be even worse than usual.
