Disneyland Leap Day Meet? Feb. 29

Made it all the way to LAX, 24 full hours in Disneyland accomplished! I met some great people, had an amazing time - as soon as my brain recovers, I'll post a trip report.

Favorite moment: the hourly park-wide dance parties that erupted every hour!

23hours completed...I spelt in and rolled into park at 7ish and rolled at 6...about to bard my flight to home and sleep....finally

When I'm more rested I have an odd story about privacy and security at the disneyland cinema.

Wow and absolutely incredible guys! Can't wait to hear about your fun...after you get some rest of course.

Hey Courtney - I hope you had a safe trip home! It was great meeting you, and I agree that the hourly dance parties were a blast. Nancy and I left at 5:30am. Luckily, we had a room and slept until 2pm! Nancy leaves tonight and I leave early tomorrow morning.

It was great to meet the people we were able to meet. Tom - I'm glad you got your sweatshirt.

wow, that was just... oh, i don't even have anything else to say about it... read my trip report here. All I take from this is that i can't wait to go back and have my OWN ONE MORE DAY... just the way I like it, off season, low crowds. And i am so glad I have previous days memories I will cherish forever.

Good morning to all. I have never written a trip report but I will for this trip. My experience seems to differ from most others. I am sooooo glad I went. I think I had the right expectations as soon I have time I will get a TR done. It was nice meeting those of you that I had the chance to meet. Being tired was my biggest challenge. I would definitely do it again I am in the service industry and I definitely feel for all the CMs who had o work through the chaos I hope everyone is rested up. Time to start planning the next Disney trip

When I read your post the other day I thought: Okay, this person either had a few drinks or desperately needs sleep!

I was pulled over once by a police officer and tested for drunk driving. I had not had a drink for five hours and even at that it was ONE daiquiri. However, it was 2am at the time and I was e-x-h-a-u-s-t-e-d. The officer told me, sleepy driving can be as dangerous as drunk driving sometimes. And I believe it.

hi everyone!
I tried to post here on OMDD to let you know we weren't going to the leap day meet, my husband was falling asleep on his feet and we left right after fantasmic ended. we were bummed that we couldn't make it until 6 AM

we had a long week ahead of us at DL so we actually enjoyed the crowds, the crazy fandom we love and the atmosphere! it was my DH's first time at DL and he was so glad he was there! i think we'll be going back for the next OMDD! we LOVED it!

it's too bad to see that many didn't enjoy it. we made it to DL from very far away and we still enjoyed it a lot, even when the crowds were massive! we still made it to many attractions without impossible lines. don't ask how we did it because we don't know, i guess we got lucky, maybe we decided to ride them at the right time

we definitely loved the experience!

it's too bad we didn't get to meet you all! I'll read the TRs, I'm curious to know if disney prepared something special for those who left at 6AM

we got our OMDD pins and I managed to get my hands on one Leap Day T-shirt... though I wanted to buy the kids XL which would have fit me better than the adult version. I'll just use it as a PJ

I'll write a TR ASAP, we're half dead right now. 12 hour flight + 3 hours waiting at the airport + 2hours wait at the train station+2:30 hour train journey home (...not to mention the jet lag!)

I really wanted to meet up with everyone but unfortunatly I was dealing with a blow out and a really crabby baby before and during the Billy Hill show. A big huge thank you to the CM who helped me out by by giving me a voucher to get the baby some new clothes because I had a brain fart and forgot to bring the kids some back up clothes!! I've also started a TR on our experience so I'd love it if you guys joined me over there. Link is in my signature.
