Will be traveling out to San Diego to catch a cruise in March of 08. Am thinking about a day at Disneyland on Friday March 14th. Does anyone know when spring break is out west? How crowded can I expect Disney to be? Thanks for any and all help.:)

We were there early March in '06 and it was like a ghost town compared to our visit this year in June. I would think its a great time to go, Spring Break most likely isn't until the 2 weeks after that.. I haven't checked any calendars just taking a guess.

Where are you traveling from? It was very chilly when we were there, 50s each day!

You might be ok that day, but not the next. March 15-30 will most likely be the prime Spring Break weeks this year.

Yep, Spring Break in Nevada starts the 15th!

Tempe, AZ's is the second week of March. I know we'll be headed that way as will a lot of others.

I went mid-March this year and it was PACKED! We had a great time, but when we saw the crowds, we decided to not to push it and limited the number of rides we went on.

In BC, Canada, spring break for most schools is March 20-April 1, blended in with the Easter break.

Anymore updates on my original question? We are still considering Friday 3/14 as a day to spend at DL. I just really do not want to fight the crowds. :)

I would just expect the crowds, lots of Spring Breaks the whole month of March. Friday's are also known to be busier then the rest of the week as well.

Thanks. I know that no one can tell me for sure what it will be like. I know the Florida park like the back of my hand but not DL. Thanks for your help.:)

Much of AZ & Most of TX will be on Spring Break that week. I was there last year on our Spring Break, basically the week you're asking about. (on a Wed - Fri). Friday was VERY crowded after noon & all evening.

If I was going that day, I would be there 30 min. before rope drop & effieciently tour for 3 hours, while picking up FPs for later. FPs make the crowded afternoons & evenings much more manageable. (I'd also hop to DCA in the afternoon, but i don't know if that is on your schedule).

Have fun...& if you decide to go....get there early.

If the hotels are any indication then it is going to be busy. We are arrving on the 13th but not going to the parks until the 14th. I was not please with the hotel choices/prices. Everyone was either sold out or much higher than I am used to paying.
