I've booked a 2 night stay for my daughter's birthday in October. I am so exited. Can anyone tell me which tower is the best to stay in? Thanks in advance.

Our favorite is the Adventure Tower because it is closest to Downtown Disney. You can exit the back doors and be that much closer to the parks. :)

Did you do the character breakfast? I'm trying to decide between Goofy's kitchen and PCH grill.

We've done both, Goofy's Kitchen numerous times and Surf's Up at PPH once several years ago. My girls really enjoyed the surf theme and dancing activity of Surf's Up (plus this in the only character meal with Mickey), but I would have to give the edge to Goofy - there's just no topping him! ;) Our favorite character breakfast though is with Minnie in DLP at Plaza Inn - you get to experience the most characters here. You may want to consider that for breakfast and Goofy's Kitchen for dinner. It's also nice to have it right there at the hotel you're staying. How old is your daughter?

Thanks for the info. We are checking in on her actual bday. I'm thinking about doing the dinner at Goofy's kitchen and doing the Plaza inn breakfast the last day we are in the park. She will be 6. And she doesn't know we are staying at the hotel. She didn't want a party this year. She wanted a Disneyland annual pass. So I figured we would make it extra special. We have to splurge once and a while. Plus she is our only one and mama loves Disney too. This will be my first time staying on site.

Aw that is too cute! I think that sounds like a perfect plan. You are sure to have a magical time!

Another vote for the Adventure Tower. Really, all of the towers are close to the pool and DTD. We just like the layout of the Adventure Tower rooms better. You are going to absolutely love it! Hope that you are going at a time when you can enjoy the pool and slide there, so much fun, even for adults! Sounds like you have a great plan, have a blast!!

We prefer the Fantasy Tower because it is the building with the shops and lobby. Our least favorite is the Frontier Tower, because it is the farthest away from the lobby/shops and DTD/parks, but a lot of people love it because it is right next to Trader Sam's and a pool entrance. Really, each of the towers has their benefits and advantages. The place is great!
