Disneyland hotel

We normally stay at the Sequoia Lodge but are considering staying at the Disneyland hotel in June, but have heard some complaints that the hotel
bedrooms are rundown and not very nice to stay in, has anyone stayed there lately who could give me some up to date information before l book.

We've stayed there a couple of times, last year we did Sequoia Lodge though and have booked this summer back at SL, as nice as the DLH is I just think it's alot of extra cash for what it is, sure its decorated nice and smells lovely but overall I think we enjoyed SL much more.

We stayed there in December and it was fine. The hotel room was about what you expect for a large hotel - some wear and tear, but clean. The sink didn't drain very well and we did complain about this to reception but nothing was done - wasn't a huge problem through. There was a problem with the tv too, but within an hour of telling them about this engineers had arrived and sorted it. We stayed in the main block.

Reception area was clean, bar was lovely (although usually busy).
