That is funny, I was just looking at reviews a couple days ago and they all seemed really good once you realize what the people are actually complaining about!
I get so caught up in reading online reviews before going to the hotel or travel destination...The funny thing is after reading all the awful reviews I show up and come to find out that most of the reviews were WAY wrong, and blown out of proportion. For example, when I was looking at DLH reviews I noticed some were simply unrealistic...such as expecting a free breakfast with the price that they are paying etc. etc. If someone is upset because they spent a lot of money on the hotel and then they didn't offer them a free breakfast, then it seems to be on the part of the reviewer, for not doing the proper research and for having expectations that are simply not possible. The biggest complaint I see about the hotel is the price, and obviously it is ridiculously overpriced....no hotel room on the planet is literally worth up 300 bucks a night. I think what I am trying to get at here is to take online reviews with a HUGE grain of salt...because for the most part, experiencing something and forming your own opinion is 100 x better than reading what someone else has to say online.
